viktor dissociating because he’s anxious and jayce hyper-focusing on the task ahead because he’s anxious (and both of them understand this about each other so they give each other the space to express themselves however!)
YES THIS EXACTLY... jayce looking like he's Got It Together when in reality hes on autopilot in a way thats just less obvious to people who don't know him; as long as he can keep going forward, just focus on the step right in front of him, he'll be fine! just ignore the oncoming cliff ✨
oof i love the pain in how much Viktor is feeling here 😭... he already would be struggling with the weight of what he did, but after being so detached from his own feelings for so long as the Herald I can't imagine how hard all those emotions came flooding back 🥺💔

The way you showed the emotion and heartbeats and how Viktor is taking it all with out him needing to say a word till the end. The staging of each panel, Jayce not being show fully, as Viktor probably doesn’t quite feel connected yet, until the realisation and all his feelings set in that night.
This is STUNNING. It’s drawn so beautifully, but what strikes me the most is the EMOTION in this. The way you paced this comic is genius, I can almost feel Viktor’s inner thoughts as he remains quiet. And then the laugh turning into tears is just— brilliant. I love this so much, well done 🤲🥺
