The described behavior in this thread is exactly why I'm often anxious when writing Ali's polyam ships because a good chunk of them are 'straight passing'. It makes her no less bisexual but between bi-erasure and shit from a past fandom (dating more than 1 person makes you a hoe/Mary Sue)... 😓

PSA: bisexual people doesn't have to be in a same-sex relationship to be counted as bisexual. It is a persistent sexual orientation, not a something that is suddenly negated by being in opposite-sex relationship.
