A friend of mine orders Costco online & they deliver to her home! I’m not sure if she originally signed up in person, but I’m gonna check it out! Their brand paper towels & tp are great & I’m a huge snob about those!
I entered my zip code & they said I'm out of their delivery area.
I only buy Marcal recycled tp & paper towels. I go through about 6 rolls of paper towels a year.
I live in Detroit. There's no Costco, Walmart or Target near me. I have local, independent grocery stores. Even in 2020 they never ran out of toilet paper.
For both same-day and warehouse stuff? I'm just asking, b/c you order them from different parts of the site. Maybe you can write to you them and ask them to expand that -- and maybe they'll be open🤷🏽♀️. Someone on here told me they ship, and that's the only way I am able to shop there (no car).
I wanted to sign up for delivery, and they told me to enter my zip code. Then said don't deliver here. Driving 200+ miles one way isn't really saving anything.
Sure isn't. Boo. I say write to them. I used to use a great grocery delivery store, and then they left our city. I keep telling myself I will write to them w/ some solutions to deliver here again. You have inspired me to actually follow through and write...and take my own advice. I'm sure you won't
The other thing I've thought of is sharing a Costco membership. I have friends who go with their car. Maybe some folks can either share a membership or divide up trips (I know you're not close enough). People could help each other this way. I hope you have good options otherwise.
UPS brings my Costco stuff that I order online. But I did get the top level membership so I don't know if that's why.
They won't deliver pre-made/fresh produce/meat except by Instacart. But all dry grocery goods, household supplies, beauty products, etc. are arriving via UPS.
Double check this. I live in the middle of nowhere and get things all the time. If you get mail/UPS, you can get stuff from Costco (non-perishable items)
Costco has a great website with lots of items available online. The items are usually a couple of dollars more, but you then you don’t pay shipping. It’s worth taking a look to see if it’s worth it for you personally. Maybe split the membership with a neighbor or two?
I'd also strongly suggest boycotting Twitter and Uline. If you haven't heard about Uline before they're a company who sells things like boxes, warehouse and business needs. Most of the things they sell can easily be purchased elsewhere for cheaper. Uline has a reputation for being overpriced.
This is true. I bought 5 items (deodorant, tp (and I use Scott), dental treats for my Nova and toothpaste) the other day. It was $120 but it will last me quite some months. Mind you that I am not currently working either. It’s worth it in the end.
Oh shit, I hate hearing that people are cutting down to eating one meal a day. You have my sympathy. I just gave at the food drive at my work, but it’s never enough money to feed everyone.
🚨MILLIONS protested trump's dumarse policies over the weekend .. MILLIONS more are gearing up for the BIGGEST BOYCOTTS in US HISTORY against the corporations who funded trump's presidential campaign🚨

I’m heading to Costco. My granddaughter doesn’t have a Costco so I offered to shop for her. But I do know that some people don’t have that option. You’re right though, I am boycotting Walmart and target.
How is BJ on bigotry, discrimination, etc. A new one opened up not far from my house. I’ll sign up if the have inclusive policies. I just don’t know where they stand.

Especially for perishables, not safe?
-She repeats & repeats again.
You can try Lowe’s for stuff like paper towels, soap etc.
