The best possible result in the #Germany #elections *under the circumstances* (global far-right wave) is:
1. The right-wing populist Conservatives in need of not just 1 but 2 coalition partners. (available: Greens, SocDem, Socialists)
2. The far-right AfD no higher than ~20%.

Despite the absolute state of the previous German govt coalition (SocDem, Greens, libertarian Liberals), the main opposition (Conservatives) achieve their 2nd worst result ever. This is how unpopular Merz is.
AfD under 20%. 🤜🤛
Turnout: 84%
It depends on whether Liberals (FDP) or BSW get in. When one of them does, Merz needs 2 coalition partners. If not, he can form a grand coalition w/ the SocDems.
Robert Habeck - the best chancellor Germany never had.

Sorry, no, voting's not compulsory.
That is Prognose. (from exit polls?)
When will Germany know for sure?
Final result in the night. We're certain around 11pm German time, I'd guess.
Und die regionalen Ergebnisse.
