Now, I haven't been back to England for a while, but it was my impression that the Johnson/Sunak/Truss legacy has pretty much put people off alt-right, libertarian, right-wing populism.

Labour a fools to be chasing the RW vote.
Farage is now in the lead and will do a deal with the Conservatives.
Labour are wondering if they should change leader.
The Greens / Reform are taking Labour votes.
LibDems taking Conservative votes.

My Conservative MP told me listening to concerns of AfD voters would weaken the party. I told him this will not work as you legitimise and amplify them. And here we are.
Unfortunately, Fartage is still a thing, mainly thanks to the relentless opportunities he is given for self-promotion. 4 Reform MPs (was 5, but there was a falling out). Watch the BBC & you'd think they were the official opposition.
The Lib Dems are doing really well and behaving like the official Opposition.
Suspect that Badenoch may get ejected if Local Election results are bad for Conservatives.
