Yeah and I don't think it means it isn't about the TV/viewer relationship stuff at all, just not wholly which is what that guy kind of implies (and why he is the enemy of the twin peaks subreddit lmao)
This caused me to have two opposite responses at once. One part of me went "I didn't even know there *was* a Twin Peaks subreddit", and the other part went "OF COURSE THERE IS" and then threw a chair. I feel like both are valid responses.
