Also pls bear in mind I don't know NEARLY as much about gundam as I do Warhammer and painting Warhammer etc so it'll be a lot of 'oh this is neat' but I think that's okay as long as I'm enjoying myself :3

I think that would actually make your take more enjoyable to hear. I think longtime builders, probably myself included get a little too wrapped up in the setting and don't look at things as objectively as we should. So I think your take on it all could be pretty eye opening.

There are so many Gundam series, visual novels, games and such that I think there will always be something one does not know.
I just buy the models I like, don't care if they're from Universal Century, Iron Orphan, Thunderbolt or other.
