Legit, one of the things I did in recent years with OpenShell was replace those options. Only things I can click on are Sleep and "Shutdown". But Shutdown doesn't shutdown, it brings up the dialog box that lets you select what you want, with Hibernate set as the default option.
Personally, I just put it in sleep mode and then turn off the power strip my computer is connected to.

solvable solution - just always put your computer to sleep instead. worst case you misclick on shut down, which still solves that problem of putting the computer into a state on non-operation until you decide, rather than the computer restart deciding
And that's why I just always press Alt+F4. It does pop up the old shutdown prompt screen, but it defaults to shutting down, so a quick enter and I'm done. 😅
