EXACTLY! Its at the point where my neighbors probably think I’m crazy when I pass them on the stairs repeating “the door is locked” all the way down. 😅
Once my mom closed the door and I asked if everything was off. She said yes, paused por a moment and angrily went back to open the door and got mad at me.
the funniest thing is when you panic over having forgotten your phone somewhere, cause it’s not in your pocket, when you’re holding it in your hand and maybe even looking at it
I pat my pockets every time I leave to make sure I have my wallet, keys, and phone. I'd say 20% of the time I fret momentarily because I don't feel my phone, and 80% of those times I'm using it.
I remember this one time where I was playing on my phone and then panicked for a split second because I realized that my phone wasn't in my pocket, because I was playing a game on it.

Me, on the way down the stairs: “I locked my door.”
Me, when I get to the bottom of the stairs: “W-wait, did I actually lock my door?”
At this point its worse than goldfish memory. 😅
That one really embarrassing thing that happened two decades ago? [4K quality video/audio remaster]
"¿Did I turn everything off?"
I open it.
"Yes, ok"
I close it
"¿Did I...?"
Again, *the car. Was still. Running.*
