Too often, we look to others for validation—chasing likes, approval, and recognition to feel worthy. But the truth is, external validation is always fleeting, and it can never fill the gap that only self-worth can.

Quite, but when someone where you work destroys you, and you have trouble finding another job, there are times when you take what they've said at face value even if deep down you know better.
Anyway, I have found another job after 4 months trying, and another interview will happen next week.
Because I’ve a tricky background, it’s taken me decades to feel this - I mean, it’s so obvious as a starting point for good health and a better way to be in the world. I wonder if I thought it arrogant, but you can do more for others if you have built up your own self-regard. ❤️
It’s also based on your values and the things that you know matter most. Everyone can like me but if I don’t have any real values, what could it matter?
