Duke could not have asked for a better landing spot, he’s got a house close to the beach and multiple kids to dote on him. It’s the soft life for you now, buddy 💗💗💗💗
I remember our beagle/basset rescue being depressed about the foster family leaving him with us but morale improved with every passing meal, treat, nom nom, crumb ,etc.
I’m glad we got him turned around quick, because he has had quite enough uprooting the past few weeks after a hard first couple years of life. But it never does get easier to say goodbye 😭
