i was like 8 or 9 when it happened...honestly i don't remember it particularly well. 9/11 was more seared into my brain as I was at the end of university when that happened.

So... 4th grade for me. My class wasn't picked to watch it live. I think I was at recess or gym. After the explosion, they had a school assembly since the teacher (Christa McAuliffe) was from a few towns away in my state. And they did offer councilors to talk to.
