Also, I got a new xbox controller for my birthday 😊 First thing I did was boot up Dark Souls and beat the boss I was stuck on haha

Thanks! It was Ornstein & Smough.
They were not as hard as I expected but still challenging enough that it took me a bunch of attempts over a few days.
I worked out how to kite and kill Smough while not getting bopped by the big guy. Then it was just a case of tackling him the same as Stray Demon.

Yes! They're such an iconic duo for a good reason. While they're not that mechanically complex, their arena is perfect and an unreal step upwards from previous bosses. Definitely an amazing feeling when you topple them for the first time ever.
