I've just finished The Mercy of Gods by James S. A. Corey. I've seen mixed reviews on this. It seems like people who didn't like it maybe didn't jive with the themes of the book, or just didn't pick up on them. I loved it, and hope in the following books they build on these themes.

The DOGE monkeys finding out that US money goes towards influencing foreign elections, courts, and governments to be more fabourable to US interests and being outraged is hilarious. Yes, you are part of an empire that uses its money, power, and force to maintain and grow each. This is basic stuff.

Got Sunlight Maggot and beat the Demon Fire Sage. Bit cheap just reusing a boss like that again but ok. Looked at the Centipede Demon, and the whole arena is lava, no thanks lads.

Kids awake, so I have to stop playing Dark Souls, haha I've given 30 humanity to the Daughter of Chaos and opened the path to Lost Izalith, and I've killed Ceaseless Discharge. I forgot I hadn't killed the Hydra and freed Dusk of Oolacile, so I did that in this run, too.

Dark Souls update. I'm not the furthest I've ever been in the game. I'm 23hrs in. I'm at the boss fog for O&S. I've gone human with my last humanity and only really have time today for one run at this boss. I'll have Solaire to help.

20hrs in to Dark Souls (for the 3rd time). Almost to the top of Sen's Fortress. Even though I know how to do it all, it still gets me repeatedly. It's the swinging axes towards the top that are fucking me up even more frustrating because I know there is an elevator near that skips all this!

17hrs. I decided to level Dex instead of my Vig or End so that I can finally weild the Black Knight Sword. Ok, so it's far too slow to actually use except in a boss fight where you have the time to wind it up. But it's very funny. That took an hour. I absolutely should have just levelled Vig haha
