I've become fond of this joke. Man in Moscow/DC buys a paper every day, reads the front page, throws it away. Never opens it. Finally the curious newsvendor has to ask him why and he says "I'm looking for an obituary." The vendor is confused. "But obituaries aren't printed on the front page!"
At this point, he could drop dead any moment now. If that happens, Republicans would rather do the Weekend at Bernie's with him instead of finally allowing any common sense.
No. While we are bound to have some better days amongst the bad ones, it will be years until this scourge is purged. But whilst all that fills our screens there are ancient forests, tumbling streams, mountains and beaches, and deserts of our Dreams to Explore. In the midst of it all, Life thrives.
