Looney Tunes is older than 99% of the people working in this industry. At some point, with the write offs giving such massive tax breaks, we need to start having serious conversation about collective public ownership of legacy media to protect our art history.

is working to get as many shorts on home media as possible. The irony is that they are able to do this because there was a massive amount of restorations done for the HBO max launch years ago so the new releases are cheaper with 2 or 3 new restorations per release now.
This industry isnt sustainable when the work being produced keeps getting shelved for writeoffs. Z isn't just shelving films. He's fucking up resumes/reels.
Especially if you aren't the original creator of that thing.
