I think what happened was they were committed to finishing the series, but sales were low, so they did low print runs that instantly sold out?

Yeah that could have been the case. My experience was they had street dates that were earlier or later than the posted ones. It was just strange.
I think these are the best looking soft covers that any company has put out. I love the design of them
