Tbh I've been pretty cringe and not really cared for a long time before 30 LOL but I do think it gets easier once you hit 30. It's like welp I'm an "old" in their minds so at this point the kids are not gonna think I'm cool no matter what I do, might as well do whatever I want 😂

Moving out of home to university was one of the best things for my self esteem. No longer having my dad or older brother constantly mocking my hobbies and instead having new friends to talk with about them and nerd out was wonderful.

Oh university was huge for me too. I understand exactly what you mean. I was able to find a whole ton of friends who are "cringe" like me and who totally understand what I'm talking about whenever I'm nerding out over something.

As a small add on to this, you will find people that are going to not just accept but encourage your cringe.

If you're scared of peer pressure or about what people will think about what you like, there will always be people out there that will accept it for no other reason than it makes you happy!!

Mhmm! No matter how niche or weird you think one of your interests is, there will always be people that will support and encourage you, even if its not something they're into themselves, in my experience people that give a shit about you, like seeing you happy and will support whatever does that
