Everyone that I've seen harping on about seed oils is never a person I want to talk to about anything else, so I've largely avoided this convo. But I am an EVOO and avocado oil supremacist so...
I think I've deep fried something maybe once in the last year using peanut oil.

here’s my question for people obsessed with avoiding seed oils. how much oil are you using, exactly? like, i will totally buy the idea that some oils are worse for you than others, but unless you’re consuming half your calories in oil, what does it really matter?
