I've seen products with argan oil but have never used it. I had no idea it came from a fruit, let alone that the fruit came from the 'goat tree.'

For me, the unexpected information about the goats is that they are trained by farmers to do this. While they do benefit farmers by spreading seeds (this is a wild but cultivated plant), they also attract tourissts.

Both have benefits in skin care, but my reading of the literature, and my personal experience is that pure, high quality argan oil has great benefits.

I think jojoba oil often gets used as a carrier oil for argan oil. My argan oil product is a mix of the two. Maybe jojoba is cheaper?

I've used it to make some of the skincare products for my little business. It's luxurious, but expensive. With this economy, people are very careful. Synthetic is cheaper, so we really have to educate consumers about the benefits of natural (though not FDA approved - yada Yada yada.

Yes, to both. But it is unclear to what extent this is a natural behavior, as farmers teach goats to climb the trees for the tourists.
