We believe he planned that, as a subtextual message to the Yokozuna Deliberation Committee.
Present YK Terunofuji is well-known for doing that too (tho' from a double-armlock, not a moro-zashi). The kimarite has a name, but can't remember it now; "frontal lift-out" in JPN.

One thing we love about sumo is, you can enjoy it knowing near nothing about it, + enjoy it knowing a lot about it; + the learning never fails to be fun.

That might be it. The double-armlock thing Terunofuji does is "kimedashi", but that's just the armlock, not how the match is won.
