That's not for his birthday. This is something we always do (the offerings) and will continue to do so until we die. For us, HHDL is the manifestation of Avalokiteshwara, the living Buddha in this degenerate era.
Yes, I know! I'm Buddhist too. I was in Dharamsala for his 64th in 2000. He's now 88...He has said that after he dies (likely in the next few years) his successor will be a spiritual leader, not a political one. So in some ways, he's the end of the line. Or the end of the role, anyway.
His Holiness will live at least another 2 decades, as prophesied by oracle, to continue serving millions of his devotees & humanity. His journey will not end, as he will reincarnate after he passes into parinirvana & will return as spiritual leader for benefit of all sentient beings. Long live HHDL🙏
