I did not realise until today that people in Australia have to pay for their democracy sausages. I assumed the electoral commission provided them as an inducement to vote.

Starting to show up in places. There was a group of kids and adults doing a roaring trade where I voted in 2023.
But we also have a lot of early voting which is also a Good Thing.
