Trump's at 50-47 in job approval in the new Morning Consult poll. A lot of Americans aren't paying attention to the chaos. And a central question for American politics right now is how did Trump become more popular during the Biden years?

One thing is he focused on communities that are isolated, which unfortunately allowed for the rapid spread of misinformation. Rural poor Americans aren't having their needs met by any administration, they feel abandoned and fearful. They believe Trump isn't like the politicians that ignore them.
He says what they want to hear, tells them it's not their fault, it's the immigrants/trans/democrats/whoever is next on the list. That those groups will destroy America and take away their freedom. Of course that's going to get these voters riled up. This is what I've seen in the Deep South.
Based on comments I have seen- there seems to be a strong belief with his supporters that when he builds everything back after this purge- things will be better than ever.
Enough negative Biden propaganda from both traditional media and social media with Trump and the GOP understanding how to weaponize the attention of who most Americans tune into every day - podcasters/YouTubers. Probably only Kamala voters are the subset that read/watch news from actual journalists.
