Rather than try and defend Joe Biden's selfish reelection campaign and poll denialism, Mike Donilon should just be apologizing to Democrats for Donald Trump's second term.

It's just grotesque how Biden aides, like Mike Donilon, seem to have no shame about what they did.

Exactly. Mike Donilon is one of the worst political advisers any modern president has had. Biden was on pace to lose 400 electoral votes. Biden comes from a small 3-county state & brought his longtime subpar political team of white yes men & women to his WH. They helped produce Trump’s 2nd term.

Remember, Russell Vought said he wanted to "traumatize" federal civil servants.

How Trumpy is the Toledo Blade? Here’s its publisher hanging out with Trump on his plane.

More than 7 out of 10 American Jews don't support MAGA & do support Israel. They're not mutually exclusive. That doesn't make us an "enemy" or "disloyal" unless the only measure of loyalty is fealty to Trump. We'll never support MAGA b/c of the dangerous extremism & antisemitism represented here👇

The Trumpiest newspaper in America, the Toledo Blade, says that Trump’s top policy priority will destroy agriculture in Ohio.

Pray for the Pope.

Exit polls show that Trump won Catholics’ votes overwhelmingly. Not surprisingly then, only 10% of Catholics said their Catholic faith affected their vote & 86% said it played no role in their vote.

Just a reminder that the neither the U.S. Digital Service (which has been converted into DOGE) nor OPM has any legal authority to direct every single federal government employee to give them a job summary. Literally no such authority at all.

As much as I lately tend to share bad news on here, it’s not all bad news. contrarian.substack.com/p/showing-up...

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Ben Collins is apparently a hate-filled anti-Catholic, ageist bigot. Good to know about the owner of The Onion.

Blocked and blocked. Leave your hate elsewhere, at the Nazi salute guy’s website.

One neat trick to see if students are reading your emails is to put a survey link on there for extra points on the midterm. Turns out, they are not (30% response). Good to know. Good to know.

I don’t know how many different ways to say that agency personnel don’t work for Elon. They don’t have to report to Elon. They report to their agency leadership, which reports to the President.

Trump fired General C.Q. Brown, our highest-ranking military officer. A four-star general, Brown served the country for 40+ years. The words they’re using to justify these firings like "woke" and "DEI" — we know what they mean. Why would they apply the term "woke" to him?

Are we already watching a failed presidency, as mainstream Republicans flee for the exists, and Russians and our enemies cheer Trump's every move. Join Legal AF's Ben Meiselas and Michael Popok on the latest After Dark edition of Legal AF.

Interesting thing for the President to say about a person who, according the government’s lawyers, “has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself” and “only has the ability to advise the President, or communicate the President’s directives.”

Democrats held the Senate floor for ten hours on Thursday night, attempting to block the most damaging budget cuts and fight for the American people. What did we see? Senate Republicans voted down every single amendment to protect Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.

Framing school attendance for children sick with measles as a matter of parental autonomy is a feature, not a bug, of this administration's approach to infectious disease response. And we've been here before! This mirrors the actions taken by FL's Surgeon General last year.
