My mom segueing seamlessly from talking about the Roger Stone RFK conspiracy book to how excited she is to watch the new episode of Call the Midwife on PBS.
Realizing that my mom probably doesn't understand the concept that a book can be written in bad faith, i.e. someone can just make up some bullshit and print it. I wonder if that's common for people who end up swayed by conspiracy stuff.
Anyway, I told her that there is no way I am ever reading a book by Roger Stone, and if she wants more dirt on Lyndon Johnson she should read Robert Caro's four-part biography.
