What is ESPN even good at anymore? NFL coverage I guess? But it's next to impossible to be "bad" at NFL coverage College football? I guess? They aren't the first thing I turn to for anything sports-related any more. Reading, watching, score updates. None of it. I think they really undervalued the value of being the center of the sports universe, a place where I got updates for everything so I stayed for their stuff.

They learned a long time ago that when you own the most real estate, you don’t actually have to be great at anything. They got good at buying the most sports rights and making consumers pay for that. They have a few well known personalities and everyone is replaceable.
