Alexei Navalny not only called for the extermination of the Chechen people, but the deportation of non-Slavs from the Russian Republic.
Liberals should be careful who they champion.

P.S. we’re in agreement on Israel
But he was an opponent of Putin and got murdered for that.
Since the topic is about free elections, I think it's relevant to point out, regardless of how shitty Navalny was.
I recall Bidenites acting like it'd be great if Navalny ran Russia. Seems like it could've been a "be careful what you wish for" scenario.
We can take Nemtsov if you prefer
Boris Nemtsov, a former deputy prime minister and a most popular political leader who was assassinated by Putin in 2015, wanted democracy for Russia.
It's entirely possible that it's a matter of "I don't like him because he's in charge as opposed to me" as opposed to actually wanting something different.
Both of them opposed Putin's murderous tyranny and fought for freedom and democracy for the Russian people.
Navalny started as a Russian conservative nationalist and evolved with time.
Nemtsov wanted civil freedom and democracy for Russia.
As in ethnically "white Russian" or the descendants of the people of Kievan Rus.
So that doesn't count other ethnic groups in the RF or in the territory it claims as "part of Russia" does it?
Must be their common ground, and why they connect and work together to get the white race to rule over the races they consider "inferior".
Not Nemtsov and Navalny.
Look at the anti-Palestinian, anti-Lebanese bigotry of many "liberal democrats" in the west after october 2023, for example.
When you support them, you aren't a Liberal Democrate
Do you support ISIS too?
Also you don't know basic facts, so don't act like you can talk about sectarianism.
What's the common denominator here?
When have you last talked with a Lebanese?
But anyway; that's my response: you're shilling Russian propaganda. So I'm downgrading you to a bot
I'm just itching to see how far the "incapable of critical thought" hole goes when it comes to you.
There are enough liberals who seem to believe that being pro ukraine and pro israel is morally consistent/not contradictory. LOL
They can both suck, numbnuts.
That's to say, the only time the election was real was the very first time Yeltsin was elected into presidency.
And that one featured heavy foreign (American) intervention.
I prefer the anti-Putin people who don't want to exterminate Chechens, thanks.
Nowhere.
Props to Navalny for going against Putin and sacrificing his freedom to it. Doesn't mean he didn't have horrible views himself.
