What we *dont have* is Media - Print, TV, Radio or Social Media - that gives us (or makes us see) equal, objective access to all those views with neutral commentary on how seriously we should take them or how practical they are.
The BBC used to give what you crave, but those days are long gone due to the Tory appointments...
I actually think regulating party political finances/donations & press/media ownership would be more effective.
But it is a good point. Reform are suddenly more popular in the polls because someone (who?) paid for it, not because they have any new or better ideas.
