That's great! 2 days ago, everyone was saying "Labour's housing policy won't work because they aren't building enough social & affordable housing". So... now, when this is announced tomorrow, everyone will be happy, right? Or will they still be whining? www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

The charities receiving grants under the Labour government's 'Tackling Food Surplus at the Farm Gate' scheme have been announced. The 12 will get £13.6m to redistribute surplus food directly from farms that would otherwise go to waste, to food banks, shelters and community kitchens & projects.

"Unemployment is up! The highest for 4yrs!" the Media cry, rushing to find politicians to blame Labour's policies for this disgrace. Yet they don't mention we *also have more people in work* because the number classed as "economicaly inactive" has fallen. Due to Labour policy.

It was also a *very low* turnout, at only 44%, due to Tory & SNP voters not showing up. Labour took the seat from the SNP "unexpectedly" because *their normal vote turned out*.

This sounds like very bad news on 1st glance. But a quick Google shows that Sumy is only 18 miles from the Russian border, so "Russian forces being within 18miles" isn't an advance. In fact, Ukraine pulled back to leave a 2km killing field in front to defend. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

Bravo Bridget Phillipson! Such important measures to reduce child poverty. They always said they were looking at the best way to do so whilst having to stabilise the economy. Labour doing the work that the Tories shirked #r4today

Extending free school meals. Restoring the winter fuel allowance. £15bn for public transport in the North & the Midlands. Good steps in the right direction, and proof a Labour government can make a difference when it listens and acts.

Labour seems to be getting attacked daily by the Media, so I thought I'd draw your attention to the #FullFact Government tracker. It shows that in 11 months Labour have already delivered or are on track with 42 of 59 Manifesto pledges. Tories barely did 3 in 5 years fullfact.org/government-t...
