Fascinated by impact of EV chargers on small-town businesses. Inyokern, California is basically a ghost town, but has a busy fast-food restaurant primarily because of the adjacent Tesla and Rivian chargers.

Would love to see this become a more pronounced trend for small business. Even the mega-stations like Buc-ees are recognizing the value of EV charging. In their model, most profit doesn't come from fuel in the first place, so attracting drivers who have to kill half an hour while charging is primo.
I’ve charged there several times and definitely frequented the local store and burger place (mostly the store). Same for the chargers in my home town which are near a shopping center and coffee shop. They both get my business often. It’s easy business.
