Yea. For me it always comes down to the calculator problem.
Math teachers growing up would be like "You're not always gojng to have a calculator on you" and though they're wrong to an extent, it's still important to have the fundamental skills / knowledge so you aren't helpless without one.

Letting ChatGPT do emails and grocery lists for you may seem useful now, but it’s taking away certain skills and making you reliant on the platform to accomplish them (emails: writing & communication. lists: memory recall & precise communication). IMHO it’s not good to outsource these skills
