Also, "weird" only sticks when people are primed for it by the weirdo. Trump's "eating cats and dogs" was great for setting it up in his debate. But Vance, sadly, can cosplay a normal human for minutes at a time, and did so in his debate, which meant the attack likely wouldn't have landed.
