Once upon a time in America. The news anchor conveyed facts and information. Politicians used those very FACTS be it bad to give it the best light for their side.
Citizens accepted the factual info. Coming to a conclusion that they didn't like the facts but that it was true. We're so lost.

Facts are sometimes not true, and the richest man in the world is certainly capable of controlling the narrative in regards to his own products. Initial reports on the cyber truck were that there was no proof that the explosion was detonated. Then Musk got involved.
