Quibble - the best day of the war for Putin was the first day, when it seemed inevitable that Russian troops would quickly take over the whole country.

Actually, it is a good day for NATO as a military alliance instead of a U.S. led talking shop. Some will weep for the talking shop, but it did very little for European security as demonstrated by the seizure of Crimea and the 2 Minsk accords under the watch of President Zero.

It may turn out to be a good day for Zelenskyy and Ukraine, though; Zelenskyy didn't engage Trump or Vance in their playground antics and that has stimulated empathy for him inside of Ukraine. His support was waning. Europe now sees Trump/Vance as bullies and Putin as a puppet master.
