Well, when I published a book with the sub-title Creating Systems Change in a *Fractured* World on November 26 this wasn't quite what I had in mind happening on November 27th.

I'm doing a lot better every day and am grateful for so much: family & neighbors with emergency assistance, emergency department care, a skilled surgeon, a husband who is caring for me so well, family and friends delivering meals, books, emergency hair cuts, puzzles, tea & more.
It's been a quiet few weeks since the accident with healing the top priority, and I've been quiet on here. I had to to reschedule some of the stops on my virtual book tour into the new year, thank you for your patience if you were waiting for one of them.
And.. my world is widening a little bit day by day, and I have lots of thoughts about resilience, acceptance, how much we depend on one another, and on gratitude. I have a feeling I'll be sharing about some of that in the days to come.
In the meantime, if you feel moved to buy my book, for yourself or as a holiday gift for a loved one, please join me in laughing along with the universe. https://islandpress.org/books/multisolving#desc
Thanks for sharing. There are already many lessons for me having to suddenly navigate with crutches, rely on others for much help, and not be able to do things that were simple just weeks ago.

Leg fractures are the worst. This time last year I was studying for my Lit Theory exam and disability was one of the concepts we were writing on.
I had some unexpected first-hand knowledge to draw upon
If it helps with the healing process, I am loving your book! Thanks for all that you do helping people (me!) reconceptualize so much!
