Are you looking for something specifically about the Dawes Act, or more generally? You might not have luck looking for something
tagged as “racial capitalism,” but, IIRC, the Dawes Act specified that any Native American who became “civilized” through labour would become “white”(!)

Seconding recommendations for Saunt’s Unworthy Republic. Also Michael Witgen’s Seeing Red focuses on how Anishinaabeg peoples resisted removal and retained some of their rights during the 19th century, which might be of interest.
