I still believe that you have to be funny and/or good at something, on top of being consistent with uploads and streams.

I think funny is a big big plus but I also think anyone can create funny moments on stream and you could just have a good niche and not really need humor.

The second point was a hard one for me; I found the key was to find comfort in talking to the void, explaining thought processes and strats.
