tech is at such a standstill. I we passed all the cool gadgets that I couldn't afford as a kid so fast. now computer parts are getting way more expensive with marginal improvements, consoles that have been out multiple years having price increases. smart phones are all the same boring tablet.

I swear a teacher told me sympathetic is when you can relate to someone's experience and empathetic is when you can't but after feeling like I've been using it differently than everyone else I've learned that sympathy is just being sorry and empathy is putting yourself in their shoes

people act like month than day makes ZERO SENSE AT ALL as a format. if you see a date written down, like the switch 2 date, 06/05/2025, the month being first gives you the most understanding of the time period it is in, and how far away it is. "oh it's june, and it's april now."

Something I noticed in the Donkey Kong Banaza Trailor while rewatching it on stream is that there are skeletons under these big masked guys that are crocodiles, aka kremling skeletons. I've missed these guys so if they are involved again I'd be so happy, maybe even hints at a potential King K rool!
