I'm so frustrated with the willful ignorance and refusal to live in reality of healthcare professionals who know better. Not the first time though. Recall poor Ignaz Semmelweis, who ended up being put in an asylum for daring to suggest handwashing to set-in-their-ways surgeons in the distant past.

Quite old indeed. I could never find any use for it in evaluating actual scientific work, it was a way of explaining the shift once the dust settled. Non-scientists love philosophical insights.

The most depressing aspect is the deaths and suffering. Obviously not learning lessons is bad , although it’s worse than that … what we’ve actually learned is that facts (science) don’t really matter, the narcissists in charge just did what they wanted. #LetTheBodiesPileHigh
