I have to remember a time in America where people were turning others in as Communists, they being arrested, vilified, denied employment until finally, finally a few had the bravery to speak up. And America recovered.

My new heroes are the governors of Illinois and Maine. So many, mine especially, are struggling to be out there while still having to deals with Republicans in state government.
