TOM KHA GAI - entered this in LATimes culinary contest 10 yrs ago, came in 4th. Judge said it would have won but for yellowish tint. A-holes. Turmeric from rolled chicken in flour and curry yellows sauce, so what? Guess what I'm eating later. (Coconut milk: food of Gods; giant shiitakes are close!)
