One of my favorite Giffen-DeMatteis-Maguire collaborations was our short run on Metal Men (which ran as a back-up in Doom Patrol). That series was a perfect fit for our sensibility and we could have kept going for years. A great disappointment when DC pulled the plug only seven stories in.
