I think letting himself get turned away is on the scale between slightly to a lot less than what was asked of him in that original clip.

I’m not saying he’s above criticism or perfect. I personally think he should have called actual LEO when at the Department Of Education and see what happens. That said, he has a long track record of listening to his constituents and showing up.

Yes. Tonko is the rep for where I grew up and I like him. But the moment calls for extraordinary action - make them outlaw you. A lot of people are going to need to do a lot more, and I hope he will be one of them.

Good on him. Hopefully he continues being loud and pain in the ass for the GOP and doesn’t let up. There are many democrats doing nothing, and he is out there.
