In the top right of a feed (next to your ava) a new icon is shown. Click this to change the view.

These view select posts with media or video from your timeline and show them in a tab.

To do so, select the option "hide from timeline" in the options menu for a user list.

A self-repost is a repost by a user of a posts from that user. With this new option you can show/hide self-reposts in your timeline.
