There was a more crude description too.... It involved toilet roll 🙊

Especially white flowered Camellias, a friend expressing that they looked like some had discarded used tea bags over the plant 🤣

My profile is private and haven't actively engaged. I haven't yet deleted my account, and pleased to see more people that I know posting here.

Hahaha, will know who it is then if a purple BMW whizzes past me on the M25 🤣

Like the purple, but I'm not sure it's £3k worth of preference, all else being equal.

Might be a seedling/cross.
Find some that are much larger in naturalised drifts at work.

Once settled they grow quickly, I like to divide every few years to keep them fresh and also increase the quantity.

Sounds fantastic. So much can be done with so little. And my book focuses on how to engage with nature if you aren't able to leave the local area, or house, or even your bed. So much is possible with a little knowledge, creativity and imagination. 😊

Brilliant 💚💚💚
Amazing what can be done in a tiny amount of space. We created a pollinator 'garden' in narrow planters on a Bermondsey office roof. Was part of the B-Line, a drive to create a pollinator corridor through London.

Magnet is distinctively large snowdrop as well as prolific, so in huge naturalised plantings they have a real impact.

Yes, well actually last night.
It will be bin day again tomorrow, though. They didn't collect our green waste bin, it was supposed to be the first collection of the year today.

Definitely time for a revival.
And whilst we're on these tones, red sandstone and rich terracotta too.
