Make yourself a sheet-sized reference with large type. Tape it adjacent to your computer. The rules are 'soft' and based on choices you make per novel but should be consistent within any single novel. #writingcommunity #italics #quotations #booksky #writing

These programs are funded by the money citizens paid into this program all their working years right out of their paycheck. It's OUR SAVINGS account. It's OUR MONEY. Congress needs to pay back what they borrowed from SS to fund their pet projects.

Social security is a sort of bank. American citizens paid in from every single paycheck to this federal *safe* bank. Then congress took money out (borrowed) for their pet projects. Congress needs to pay back the loans. It's our SAVINGS account.

Thank you, my female friend is a local artist who works with resin a lot. My male friend was assisting her and his wife is on the side with me watching and gabbing. :)

The world has discovered features of autism are widespread. It is peculiar and lucky for you that your verbal skills are strong.

Go to your bookshelf and pull out a book you think is well written. Open to page 1 and re-type the page. This will move your brain into the body/mind of a functional writer. Repeat until your block is gone. #writingcommunity #writingblock #booksky

Sometimes they post on the main library bulletin boards saying when and where they meet. They may have a presence on your social media so try searching your town/city and writing and see what pops up. #writingcommunity #writinggroups #booksky

I prefer paperbacks as well as long as the font is larger and not super small. #writingcommunity #booksky

Entirely true. The best the author can do in some circumstances is to really go hard at the proof copies. If a book is typeset rather than file transferred the opportunity for errors increases. With self publishing it is entirely in the hands of the self-publisher. #writingcommunity #booksky

True enough. Let's just say that level of book snobbery is a spectrum. For some people (me included) if a book has an ai cover it's an automatic no purchase. This is an example of a decision I make on purchasing a book. Type too small, the first typo etc... #writingcommunity #booksky

Generally I start off writing the burning book in my brain. After I finish that book, I tape kraft paper to the longest hallway wall and draw at least 5 horizontal lines - the top is meta plot over ? novels. I try to position the novel just finished within that timeline. #writingcommunity #writing

For some people their bookcase has pride of place and looks matter as much as content. Each person looks for different things in the books they buy. Good grammar should be a no brainer. :) #writingcommunity #booksky

Exactly. Also, your 'writer brand' is reflected by the quality of the product being sold. If the book is poorly made it stains the writer's reputation. #writingcommunity #booksky

It is very important to produce a professional product. Lots of self-published writers don't realize that in their rush to print. #writingcommunity #booksky
