It's my all-time favorite movie. I hate that it doesn't get the love it deserves it is the best vampire film ever made with some of the most realistic portrayals of how eternity would weigh on the mind and shape people and social conventions such as marriage. Also Eve is so beautifully peculiar.

Children's media in the US is full of retellings and reimaginings created to sell merch. But with that movie I've been saying since I heard it announced that Universal greenlit it to market the opening of Epic Universe at Universal in Florida, and it's How to Train Your Dragon land. It opened May.

This is very sad but unfortunately not uncommon in the small press/ indie scene. Something like this happens every handful of years which is why self-publishing even for former traditionally published authors is on the rise. My heart to this person and their struggles though.

A sun elf would have to be bathed in sunlight a moon elf in moonlight. But Black Wolf elves... Black Wolves will always have their sigils and tricks because they more or less drown their children in a pool of pure dark magic kept guarded in the crypts of the Black Keep. cue ominous music.

The only magic left is natural magic. Nothing that can be studied or learned but magic that lingers in blood but even with that every generation since The Breaking the magic has weakened. A wood elf to tap into their primal magic would have to be touching a tree to do it.

All magic comes from the fonts. Most are ruined now. The Druid's Heart Tree is half charred since the humans burned the groves in the Last War. The Moon Pond was broken when the human wizard tried to become a god. And no one knows where the Sun Sphere is or if it still is.
