🍽️ spicy ramen for supper tonight. Added sliced mushrooms, baby bok choy, turkey strips. Sprinkled some green onion and drizzled a bit of hoisin on top.

Green is my favourite colour in #Spring! I love the feather pattern on the banana plant leaf, and the stripy glow of the dracaena. The new coffee plant leaves are so incredibly shiny, and the daffodil shoots just make me happy. 🌱 #indoorplants #houseplants #green

My indoor basil is coming along nicely! The scent from the leaves is heavenly. 🌱🍽️ #kitchenplants #herbs

Happy flag day! True north strong and free! 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦

This… is… unbelievable.

🌱 As it’s snowy with blustery winds outside I needed some colour to look forward to! Look at those jaunty striped petunias 😍 #flowers #bloomscrolling

Wouldn’t it be great if the #Valentine’s Day sentiment could shift from romance to instead just doing an act of kindness to someone/anyone/a stranger. And that extend the day to a year of days! Happy Valentine’s Day. Be kind to all living things. Xo #kindness #bekind

🍽️🌱 There are benefits to growing and drying your own herbs. Case in point, in the jar is oregano I grew and dried 2 yrs ago, and in the bag is oregano just bought the other day. (I forgot I had the jar whoops) Note the difference in colour though, and mine still smells fresh.

🧵"So this is how liberty dies..." Trump’s first 3 weeks have been a relentless flood of actions. It's incredibly hard to keep up. I’ve gone through 69 actions & mapped out the pattern - showing how they fall within 5 broad domains consistent with authoritarian states 1/9

@bsky.app begging for an edit feature!! 🙏

Dinner tonight. I was grocery shopping and found a half-price steak, roasted some veggies (potatoes, Brussels sprouts and carrots) for the side. I whipped up a maple and balsamic glaze for the veg. Yummy!

Bought a new orchid today. I love the colour of this one! It practically glows during golden hour light. 🌱

That our biggest newspaper chain is foreign owned was probably never a good idea. But as we face an erratic US president it becomes more urgent to ask: If Postmedia needed to choose between what’s good for its American owners and what’s good for Canada, what would they choose? How would we know?

According to the group’s statement, women play a crucial role in advancing #climateaction. They are 2.5 times more likely to demand that their government take action on climate change and twice as likely to engage civically on the issue. #Canada www.nationalobserver.com/2025/02/11/n...

Went to a beading workshop and after 2 hours my heart shaped earring is at this point! Maybe we should have started with a beginner class 😂😂😂 #craftfail #beading

Feeling the February blues on a snowy Sunday morning. Making some comfort food for dinner 🍽️ today: slow cooker pulled pork on the go. Will make savoury roasted sweet potato wedges for the side.
