my car started acting up after i got gas for my columbus trip, & it’s yelling that a spark plug is misfiring. so i’m taking my mom’s vehicle but jfc. couldn’t cancel b/c i’m dog-sitting for my fam, but i just want to crawl in bed & not deal w/more car bullshit when i get home. #reststopthoughts

1. walk. a LOT 2. get strong, get flexible, & keep it up spent my 20’s - 30’s teaching art, prek/k, & PE, chasing kids around & being on my feet all day. then was an office mgr constantly hauling crap around a big startup space, & walking 3-4 miles in SF daily. moving lots has a huge impact later!

holy cats, parking for the Phipps May Fair was bonkers b/c of graduation, i think? but also, the fair itself was VERY busy donovan on walking a bit or doing the $15 valet. bring a wagon for plants if you have one. and get a pickle grilled cheese from The Pickled Chef! so amazing.

one pittsburgh food feature that doesn’t make the usual lists is that any deli will chip your turkey, ham, or chicken deli meats. so good for piling high on a sandwich, and nowhere else i’ve lived has “chipped” as an option.
